Sign up for bags tournament, pig roast and music May 21

Annunciation Catholic BVM Elementary School, 1840 Church Road in Aurora, will host its inaugural "Tradition of Excellence" bags tournament and pig roast with live music starting at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21. It is for those 21 and older. Check-in will be 2 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m.

The Brian Allison Band will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. To hear their music, visit brianallisonmusic.com/music.

Registration is for two-person teams. Fees include tournament play, all-day beverages, all-you-can-eat pig roast buffet and evening entertainment. Register early to guarantee your spot. Cost per two-person team is $100 by April 21 or $115 after. For dinner and drinks only, it is $25 per person. To sign up, visit toebagstourney.eventbrite.com.

Only registered teams will be allowed on grounds during tournament play.

The evening entertainment will be held rain or shine. But the rain date for the bags tournament will be May 22, with check-in at 1 p.m. and the tournament at 1:30 p.m. Due to limited parking, consider carpooling. Bring your camp or lawn chairs.

There will be cash prizes for the top three teams, and a bags set for each of the three bottom teams (as you apparently need the practice.)

There also will be prizes for the Best Hawaiian dressed guy and girl, 50/50 raffles, pull tabs, and more.

Sponsorship opportunities include:

• Bag Set Sponsor for $250, which includes complimentary registration for one two-person bag tournament team, food, and drink, or four individual dinner tickets. Sponsor also gets option to keep bag set after the tournament or they will raffle the set off.

• Dinner Sponsor for $500, which includes complimentary registration for one two-person bag tournament team, food and drink or four individual dinner tickets.

• Drinks Sponsor for $500, which includes complimentary registration for one two-person bag tournament team, food and drink or four individual dinner tickets.

• Entertainment Sponsor for $700, which includes complimentary registration for one two-person bag tournament team, food and drink or six individual dinner tickets.
