MCC offers QuickBooks training

CRYSTAL LAKE -The McHenry County College Workforce Community and Business Programs is offering a QuickBooks accounting software series. The six-course series is available from 6-9 p.m. on Mondays, April 11 through May 16, at McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane in McHenry.

QuickBooks is an accounting software for small business financial management and bookkeeping. This classroom series enables the user to track bills, invoices and estimates and to perform payroll functions in one easy to use accounting software solution. These instructor led courses allow the software user to become confident and save time and money by eliminating trial and error learning. QuickBooks organizes your accounting system and allows you to get back to business.

The QuickBooks series includes the following course topics: QuickBooks Overview, Setting Up a Computerized Accounting System, Invoicing and Check Writing-Working with the Customer, Invoicing and Check Writing-Working with Vendors, Streamlining Payroll, Customizing & Designing Your Own Forms, and Creating, Customizing and Running Financial Reports. Basic accounting and computer skills are prerequisites for program success.

The series fee is $535 and includes all materials. Use course code: NTC S57 004 when registering.
