Algonquin library hosts blood drive Monday

On Monday, Feb. 22, the Algonquin Area Public Library District will host a blood drive from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Harnish Main Library, 2600 Harnish Drive, west of Randall Road.

This blood drive is conducted in partnership with Heartland Blood Centers. Heartland is the sole provider to 65 hospitals in the Chicago area, including all area Veterans Affairs hospitals.

Schedule your appointment today at www.heartlandbc.org. Make sure you've either selected by city Algonquin or by date Feb. 22. Appointments are appreciated, but walk-ins are accommodated. Photo ID is required.
