TriCity Family Services welcomes new director of development

Geneva, IL - TriCity Family Services, Kane County's leading provider of counseling and other mental health services to clients of all ages and income levels, is pleased to welcome Kathleen Hausmann as its new director of development.

As a member of the organization's leadership team, Hausmann will be responsible for all private sector fundraising efforts, helping to generate the revenue necessary to sustain and develop organization programs and services. Additionally, she will oversee the organization's public relations and marketing efforts - promoting the understanding, use, and support of the organization.

"TriCity Family Services is truly fortunate to have a fundraising professional with Kathleen's experience, skills, and obvious passion for our cause, leading our development team," said TCFS Executive Director Jim Otepka. "I have no doubt she will not only strengthen TCFS' fundraising efforts, but will deepen this agency's near 50-year relationship with the greater Tri-City community."

Hausmann, who had most recently been the vice president of development for Little Friends in Naperville, brings with her more than 15 years of development experience and success in building and managing relationships with corporate, foundation, and community partners.

Prior to Little Friends, Hausmann worked for the Chicago accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers for 13 years as part of their internal marketing/corporate communication team.

"TriCity Family Services has had a huge impact on the community and the clients we serve. It is quite an honor to become part of an organization that does so much for so many. I am anxious to apply my energy and experience to continue to raise awareness and help us grow," Hausmann said.

Hausmann will lead the TriCity Family Services Development Team out of the new TCFS satellite location at 2570 Foxfield Road, Suite 101, St. Charles.
