McFun for Wood Dale Jr. High McTeachers

On Thursday, September 24th, Wood Dale Jr. High held a McTeacher's Night at the Bensenville McDonald's on Route 83. to raise money for the school. Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money. The Wood Dale Jr. High families all came to support their McTeacher Night. The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, teachers cleaning the lobby, front counter teachers, teachers clearing tables, teachers making ice cream and shakes, teachers selling pies and most of all lots of teachers singing for tips. A special appearance by school mascot the Panther and of course School Superintendent, John Corbett, made the evening extra special. A very very special thank you goes out to Parent and PTO president, Tammy Peterson, who worked very hard to organize the entire event. The PTO plans to put the money raised into the PTA fund to go towards items needed for the school..
