Wasco Diamonds SS ends on top with 5-4 win vs. Algonquin Aces

Wasco Diamonds SS and the Algonquin Aces exchanged the lead five times on Sunday, but Wasco Diamonds SS ended up on top with a 5-4 win in six innings over the Algonquin Aces.

Wasco Diamonds SS finally managed to grab the lead after a strong sixth inning. A passed ball scored Bailey Clarke to give Wasco Diamonds SS the lead for good.

Wasco Diamonds SS' Grace Sobieski was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. She singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.

The top of the first saw Wasco Diamonds SS take an early lead, 1-0. Wasco Diamonds SS' rally started when Grace Sobieski singled. A groundout by Clarke then moved Grace Sobieski from first to second. Grace Sobieski then stole home.

The Algonquin Aces quickly matched Wasco Diamonds SS' strong inning with a three-run inning of their own in the first.

The Algonquin Aces scored on an RBI single by No. 12, an RBI triple by No. 29, and a steal of home by No. 29.

Wasco Diamonds SS never surrendered the lead after the sixth inning. The runs piled on thanks to a groundout by Grace Folino, an RBI single by Grace Sobieski, and an RBI triple by Clarke.
