Sign up now for 'Bike Huntley!' event Aug. 2

All Huntley residents are invited to join in "Bike Huntley!," a communitywide bike ride, on Sunday, Aug. 2. Join members of the Huntley Police Department and fellow residents for a ride through Huntley along the path system (some streets) and checking out eight local parks.

The entire ride will be about 13 miles and take about 2 hours. The ride will start at Parisek Park on East Main Street, across from the municipal complex. Check-in will be 1 to 2 p.m., followed by the ride from 2 to 4 p.m. and a cookout from 4 to 6 p.m. at Parisek Park.

If you can't join at the start, feel free to join them at one of the two "Join In" stations: Tomaso Park (Talamore Subdivision) and Weiss Park (Southwind Subdivision).

Safety is important so please wear your bike helmet. No tricycles, bikes with training wheels, or Big Wheels are allowed, as well as no motorized vehicles/scooters. There will be water stations along the way.
