Olive Garden expanded one of its most popular menu items - the breadsticks - into sandwiches. Try the Italian meatball sandwich made with Sicilian meatballs, Alfredo and marinara served on the signature breadstick bun, starting at $6.99; or the chicken parmigiana sandwich, a Parmesan-breaded chicken breast, fried and topped with Italian cheese and marinara served on the breadstick bun, starting at $7.99. Beelow's cigar dinner

Toscani now open in Wood Dale

Toscana in Arlington Heights recently opened a sister restaurant, Toscani, in Wood Dale. The family-owned Italian-American restaurant offers a variety of homemade pastas and pizzas, as well as sandwiches, paninis, seafood with pasta, chicken, veal, fish and desserts.
