St. Emily Track Team Send 17 to State
The St. Emily Track team had a very successful season which was capped off with 17 athletes competing in the state track meet in Peoria over the weekend of May 15th and 16th. The girls 7th grade finished 2nd at the sectional meet while the boys 7th grade finished first. The sectional held at Grayslake North High School was the largest among the 18 sectionals held within the state. Three athletes qualified in all four fo their events for the state meet. Five individuals or teams finished in the top 20 in state. Patric Natindim, Aubrey Hasley and Joy Bergstrom qualified in all 4 of their events.
