Twentieth Century Club Raises $12,000 at Benefit Luncheon

The Twentieth Century Club of Park Ridge recently held its annual benefit luncheon and promenade at the Cafe La Cave restaurant. The theme of the benefit was "The Way We Were", which featured a fashion show of vintage wedding dresses and other garments, some dating to the 1930's, loaned by club members. Many of the models were young relatives of the original dress owners!

The Club is happy to report that the benefit raised $12,000 for local organizations. The following will receive $4,000 each: Avenues of Independence, Wings, and scholarships to local high school students.
