Suspect charged in Elgin lottery ticket thefts
A 25-year-old Evanston man was in custody at the Kane County jail Sunday facing allegations he broke into Elgin gas stations three times this month to steal lottery tickets. Barrington L. Goodman, of the 9000 block of Central Park Avenue, is charged with three counts of burglary stemming from break-ins Feb. 8 and Feb. 14 at the Marathon station, 285 North McLean Blvd., and Feb. 21 at the Citgo station, 282 Dundee Ave. Full story.
