Help with health care enrollment available in Lake County

Navigators will be on hand at two events in January to enroll Lake County residents in health insurance plans offered through the Health Insurance Marketplace and Medicaid.

From 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, bilingual navigators will be available at Village Elementary School, 880 Nippersink Road, Round Lake. From noon to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, navigators will be on-site to help residents review coverage options and apply for health coverage as part of an event hosted by Family First Center of Lake County at the Jesus Name Apostolic Church, 150 S. Genesee St., Waukegan.

Walk-ins are welcome at these events, but appointments are encouraged. To schedule an appointment, call (847) 377-4999. Navigators' services are free.
