Woodfield Mall Announces 'Extra Festive' Hours for 2014 Holiday Season

Woodfield Mall, one of the largest shopping destinations in the United States, is announcing enhanced holiday season opening hours to accommodate the needs of busy holiday shoppers. Woodfield Mall will open at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 27, (Thanksgiving) and remain open for 28 hours until 10 p.m. on "Black Friday," November 28, to kick off the holiday shopping season.

Woodfield Mall will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 30.

Woodfield Mall will also have extra festive hours throughout the month of December. Shoppers can visit www.shopwoodfield.com or Guest Services for a complete list of hours.

"Convenience is key to successful holiday shopping whether you start early or late in the season. Research shows that 84% of shoppers agree that malls provide a convenient option to get a lot of shopping done in one trip*," said Heather Lloyd, director of marketing and business development at Woodfield Mall. "We are offering extra holiday hours to meet our customers' needs - from the person looking for the latest fashion and styles of the season to the family hunting for great deals, or for the last-minute shopper in search of the perfect gift."

Shopper appreciation programs will take place throughout the holiday season and include complimentary coat and package check at Simon Guest Services, a Toys for Tots toy drive with the Boy Scouts of America Discovery Outpost now through December 10 and more.

Shoppers can also sign-up for the Simon Rewards program to accumulate points as they shop to earn exclusive rewards and benefits or use their points toward chances to win prizes. Simon Rewards members can access the program using the free Simon Rewards app (available on the Apple App Store or Android Play), online at www.simonrewards.com or at one of the four Simon Rewards kiosks located throughout the property.

To provide gift-giving inspiration, Simon and Vogue Advertising have collaborated to produce the "Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide", curated by Vogue's Market Stylist**, Cara Crowley, who has selected her favorite holiday products from retail brands available at Simon Malls, Premium Outlets and Mills. These Gift Guides will be previewed as an insert in the December issue of Vogue with the full print version available at Woodfield Mall throughout the holiday season.
