Culver's salutes veterans in Lake County:
Culver's restaurants will participate in the 9/11 Patriots Day of Giving in Lake County on Thursday. Stores have worked with the Lake County Veterans and Family Services Foundation to come up with an event to raise funds for the organization and gain recognition for the local men and women who have served our country. All vets who visit participating Lake County Culver's will receive a free one-scoop sundae. The stores also will donate a percentage of the day's sales to the Lake County veterans organization that has services such as peer counseling and legal advice. Participating Culver's are in Antioch, Buffalo Grove, Lake Zurich, Mundelein, Libertyville, Grayslake, Zion and Island Lake.
