Face N Time Rocks Local Audiences This Summer

Anything. You will hear it - they can play … ANYTHING! The recipe for a great night out this summer is simple, just blend five high-energy, talented musicians, place them in terrific local venues, sit back and enjoy Face N Time. Meet them Saturday, June 28, at Pier 99 Grill and Spirits, 99 Kazimour Dr., Lake Barrington, 8pm until midnight.

Front and center is Jennifer Pepper Ramsey. Born in Memphis and raised in Mississippi by a rockabilly musician father and classically-trained pianist mother, it was only natural that Jennifer should grow up a versatile musician. As her piano professor predicted, there is a lot of music inside her that insists on being let out. Jennifer performs as a solo artist and with bands Jennerator and Face-N-Time. Her tremendous voice and the ability to play multiple instruments including ukulele, guitar, keyboards, saxophone, harmonica and more, rocks the house every time.

Twenty years of professional music experience sets Paul Allodi in a category all his own. With over 500 original songs and 4000 cover tunes in his inventory, Paul amazes audiences with his ability to fulfill requests. His rich voice and skill with instruments ranging from bass guitar to keyboards and even percussion makes him known in the Chicagoland area as one of the"Best of the Burbs" by Nitelife.org readers. He is often featured as a special guest with bands around the country. In addition to Face N Time, Paul is half of the Paul Allodi and James Wayman duo and fronts Since I was 3, plus plays solo gigs and hosts open mics. Paul flies away to Florida in the winter, so the time to see him is now!

On bass guitar, James Wayman provides rhythm for Face N Time. Having played with local bands since 1998, James has recorded and released two albums: HEALING SONGS (2008) under his own name and TIME SPENT (EP) (2010) under the name Three Finger Pour. James has also earned production credits for his work on three EP's for Chicago-area singer/songwriter Radstarr. Outside of music, James teaches at S.T.A.R Winnebago, an alternative education program in Rockford that works in conjuction with local Regional Safe Schools to provide education and other services for young adults who have dropped out or have been referred by their home schools.

Jim Henning started out on piano at age 2, watching his brother practice and duplicating the sound by ear. Jim taught himself to play guitar in his teens and it has been his main instrument ever since. He has played a huge variety of music with many bands, performing in legendary venues such as Haymakers, Durty Nellies, Dick's Last Resort and Buck's Rock N Roll Grill. After playing mostly private parties in recent years, Jim is happy to be back in the public eye, stage left with Face N Time.

Seated at the back of the band, but setting the bass line for the whole shebang, Lindy Alo makes magic with two African hand drums, bass drum and high hat. He started playing drums at 9 years old, though his parents could not afford a set. Instead, he used coffee cans until he could make his first purchase. Lindy started his first band in grade school: the Crystal Spiders, then in high school played with Bash. During college, he joined the all original music band Bedlum. More recently, Lindy managed and played drums for The Magic Frank Blues Band and has played with several great Blues artists throughout Chicagoland. He founded Face N Time, initially with a focus on Motown and Funk.

Today, Face N Time has evolved into an eclectic group of very talented musicians with a library of songs ranging through every genre and style imaginable. Using an acoustic approach to songs from old to new, their sound is very organic and original. Come and see…they can play ANYTHING! Check out facebook and give Face N Time a "like".
