Tee off for The Bridge family center Aug. 11 in Inverness

Tee off with The Bridge Youth & Family Services as they host the 15th annual Peter D. Cunneen Memorial Golf Classic on Monday, Aug. 11, at Inverness Golf Club.

New this year is a $100 discount per golfer available until June 30.

This event features many activities for guests including open driving ranges, putting contest, $1,000 shootout and raffle and auction. Attendees will also be able to indulge in a lunch buffet, open bar and five-star dinner.

Registration is currently open online at golf.bridgeyouth.org. Participants who register by Monday, June 30, will receive a special discounted price of $300 per golfer. After June 30, tickets will be $400 per golfer. Participation grants exclusive access to Inverness Golf Club, which features a breathtaking course that was home to the 2012 U.S. Open First Round Qualifier. It is no wonder The Bridge is returning for the eighth year in a row.

Proceeds from the golf outing will go toward funding services that help change the lives of individuals in the community.

"It never ceases to amaze me the breadth of services offered by The Bridge to so many children and families, with so little resources," said event chairman Michael Kabarec. "The Bridge is a treasured community resource helping many that are unable to help themselves. This resource needs to be nurtured and allowed to grow to serve even more children and families."

The Bridge's goal is to raise over $75,000 for its community-focused programs and services. These services are available to all families, regardless of ability to pay.

Event sponsors include: BMO Harris Bank, Kabarec Financial Advisors, Streamwood Behavioral Health System, Northrop Grumman, Northwest Community Healthcare, Palatine Bank &Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank, Cornerstone National Bank & Trust, Co.
