Norris Gallery "Good Old Neon" presentation June 13

This Friday, June 13, St. Charles painter/photographer Nick Freeman will present "Good Old Neon; Classic Signs of Chicagoland", as part of Norris Gallery's ongoing one-man exhibition of Freeman's artwork. The hourlong presentation at 7 p.m. will showcase Freeman's photos of iconic and quirky neon signs gathered from Chicago's far south side to the Wisconsin Dells. He will be discussing the history and visual appeal of these rapidly-disappearing landmarks.

This is one of a series of artist talks being offered in conjunction with "The Wine of Life; The Art of Nick Freeman," featuring over 80 paintings and photos of Fox Valley scenes and running through July 5 at the Norris Cultural Arts Center, 1040 Dunham Road in St. Charles.
