St. Anne's eighth-grade girls take conference title

Congratulations to St. Anne's eighth-grade girls basketball team. The Cardinals are the Northwest Catholic Girls' Conference 2014 Eighth-Grade Girls Silver Division Conference Finals Champions.

This team only had six girls so everyone had plenty of playing time. The regular season ended with a 9-win record.

The team hit its stride midseason and as a result won the Snowball Classic Tournament. In the conference tournament, the players and coaches focused on defense and held the opponents to 28 points while scoring 34 on average.

Coach Clyde Rundle says, "These girls are all honor roll students, are funny and respectful. They represent St. Anne School with a great deal of class. It was one of the great pleasures of my life to be their coach."
