Gifts, giveaways at Springfest Expo in Lake Villa

The Lindenhurst-Lake Villa Chamber of Commerce's 11th annual Springfest Expo featured more than 100 businesses and a host of activities Saturday at Lakes Community High School in Lake Villa.

Local businesses had the opportunity to provide information, gifts, giveaways and discounts.

The booths included one from Vista Health Systems, where visitors could have their cholesterol tested and a blood pressure check. The Lake Villa Lions Club featured their Vision Bus and checks for diabetic retinopathy. Attendees of the family-friendly expo also had the chance to buy merchandise and participate in raffles. Activities for kids, jugglers, balloon artists and magicians rounded out the event.

The expo continues Sunday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
