Mentalist to perform March 7 at Rakow Center

The Dundee Township Park District is presenting The Mentalist on Friday, March 7, from 7 – 8 p.m. at the Rakow Center in the Senior Center wing, 665 Barrington Ave, Carpentersville.

Using a spectacular combination of skilled mind manipulations, insightful edgy humor and astonishing illusions, Christopher Carter, The Mentalist, makes audiences question long-held assumptions, doubt their senses, and become absolutely mesmerized.

Christopher Carter is recognized as one of the world's greatest mind-readers. But he's not psychic. He's simply an incredibly skilled observer of human behavior. Christopher's work is a blend of his lifelong interests in psychology, hypnosis, and illusion.  An expert in the field of body language and nonverbal communication, he blends people reading skills with the power of suggestion and a heavy dose of theater.  Minds are read, predictions come true, and everyone in the audience becomes the star of the show as Christopher begins revealing their personal thoughts to all of their friends.

The fee is only $2 pre-registration per person and $3 at the door per person. Children, age 2 and under, are admitted free. To register, visit our website at www.dtpd.org.
