Roselle Dist. 12 chief named new Arlington Hts. Dist. 25 superintendent

The Arlington Heights Elementary District 25 school board has appointed Roselle Elementary District 12 Superintendent Lori Bein to be its own superintendent beginning next summer.

Bein will succeed retiring District 25 Superintendent Sarah Jerome on July 1.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Arlington Heights School District 25 community,” Bein said in a written statement. “The people I've met are passionate about providing an exemplary education for all students. I look forward to collaborating with the board, administration, teachers, staff, families and community members to continue to provide the best possible learning environment for our students.”

More than 50 people applied for the position, half of whom are current superintendents in Illinois.

The other finalist was River Trails Elementary District 26 Superintendent Dane Delli.

Bein has 23 years of experience in education and currently oversees the two schools in District 12. District 25 has nine schools and more than 5,000 students.
