Knockout Women's Boxing Club Extends Invitation

Knockout Women's Boxing Club in Westmont has issued a special introductory offer to the members of the now closing Women's Workout World in Downers Grove.

Upon hearing that the local Women's Workout World (W3) is shutting their doors November 8th, 2013, Knockout Women's Boxing Club coach and owner Jessica Storch immediately issued a special invitation to W3 members to come give Knockout Women's Only Boxing Club a try – for free.

“We understand how disappointing it is for members of Women's Workout World to discover that their club is closing its doors. It is very important that women have an environment they feel safe and comfortable training in and now they are losing that,” says Storch. “With the closing of Women's Workout World, my club is now the only women only training facility in the area. Though our facility and training is much different than that of W3, we are confident their members will find our empowering, welcoming atmosphere and group personal training format just what they need. We invite any members of W3 who are seeking another women's only facility to come out and give us a shot.”

Knockout Women's Boxing Club services include boxing and strength training workouts. They offer a free boxing basics class every Monday night and Saturday morning. If members of W3 like what they experience at the Knockout Basics, they can take advantage of a special introductory membership of $40 for 30 days of unlimited group training sessions (with proof of W3 membership).

Storch hopes this offer will help women who prefer a women's only gym to continue with their training.

“I don't want to see women give up on exercise because their club is closing. Whether at my club or somewhere else, we want to see women continuing to train and reaping the benefits of being active!” Storch says.

Pre-registration is required for attendance at Knockout Basics and prospective student can sign up on the website www.knockoutwomensboxing.com. For questions or more information email to kowbcstaff@gmail.com or call 630.541.9988.
