Drury Lane Theatre's 2014-15 season will feature something of a scheduling coup with plans to produce the hit musical "Les Miserables" at the same time as a recently announced Broadway revival.

Jeff Award-winning director Rachel Rockwell ("Ragtime," "Oliver!") is set to direct "Les Miserables," the world-famous 1980s musical based upon Victor Hugo's sprawling 19th century novel. The show -- the first in the Oakbrook Terrace theater's 30th anniversary season -- will run from Saturday, March 29, through Sunday, June 8.

Next on the docket is the 2005 hit musical comedy "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," which incorporates audience members into the show. This two-time Tony Award-winning show is directed by Scott Calcagno and plays from Saturday, June 19, through Sunday, Aug. 17.

"The Game's Afoot" follows in its Chicago-area regional debut from Thursday, Aug. 28, through Sunday, Oct. 19. Drury Lane artistic director William Osetek will helm this Sherlock Holmes-inspired comic thriller by Ken Ludwig.

Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's beloved 1960 musical "Camelot" is next, running from Thursday, Oct. 30, through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015. Alan Souza has been tapped to direct this show, filled with romantic tunes like "If Ever I Would Leave You," "How to Handle a Woman" and more.

Finishing up the season is a revival of "West Side Story," the groundbreaking Broadway musical by composer Leonard Bernstein, lyricist Stephen Sondheim, playwright Arthur Laurents and director/choreographer Jerome Robbins that updated Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" as a rivalry between two gangs in 1957 New York. Rachel Rockwell directs the musical, which runs from Jan. 15 to March 15, 2015.
