Bartlett firefighters to host street fest Aug. 31
The Bartlett Volunteer Fire Association is hosting the sixth annual Street Fest/Dance & Raffle on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 1 to 11 p.m. The fest will be on Main Street in downtown.
The “Kids Zone” – fun activities for kids will again be a highlight during the afternoon.
Also in the afternoon Hanover Township will co-sponsor a Classic Car Show in the Village Hall parking lot. Hanover Township will also sponsor a Veterans VIP Area.
Attendees are encouraged to bring supplies "To Support Our Troops".
The “Taste of Bartlett” brings you food from Bartlett's favorite restaurants and beer & wine will be available. And of course we have great bands on stage all afternoon and evening featuring popular music. Featured bands include: The Redmonds from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.; HAG from 4:30-6:30 p.m. - classic rock chicks; and Evolution from 7:30 to 10:45 p.m., Chicagoland's classic rock band
At the end of the evening, if the winner is present, someone will go home with the $5,000 first place raffle prize. This is a great family fun event with no admission fee.
Please Note: Parking is available in the Metra lots. NO outside liquor or pets allowed in the Fest area.
