Stehle was arrested June 8 after a series of online exchanges with an undercover Elmhurst officer posing as a 15-year-old girl, police said.

Prosecutors allege in court records he arranged a meeting in an attempt to "seduce, solicit, lure or entice" a child "without the knowledge of the parent's child or guardian."

Police said the arrest was part of ongoing efforts to detect and prevent computer-related sex crimes. They said Stehle had been soliciting "indecent liberties" with Elmhurst children on Craigslist.

Stehle remained Wednesday in DuPage County jail on $100,000 bail.
