Girl Scouts Offer Summer Horse Program!

Girls will be aMAZED at how horses can help them make better friendships! Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois is offering a four-day aMAZING Horses program on July 10, 17, 24, and 31, from 9 a.m.–12 Noon, at BPS Friends, 47W635 Beith Rd., in Maple Park. The program is open to all girls in grades 6–8. Girls will work with staff at BPS Friends to complete the Girl Scout aMAZE Journey while riding and working with horses using Equine Assisted Learning. Girls will also team up to complete a Take Action Project.

Registration is $95 per registered Girl Scout; $107 per non-registered Girl Scout. The additional $12 registers girls as Girl Scouts and allows them to participate in this program and others throughout the summer! Fee also includes aMAZE Journey book, awards, and horseback riding at each session. Registration deadline is Wednesday, June 26. Register online at www.girlscoutsni.org.
