Exchange Club of Gurnee has presented Young Citizenship Awards to some Woodland Elementary District 50 pupils. Receiving the kudos were eighth-grader Parker Reinhard, seventh-grader Madelynn Roche, sixth-grader Gillian Hadding, fifth-grader Isabella Kifer and fourth-grader Daniel Valdez. Students at two other school districts also received Young Citizenship Awards. The winners were selected for demonstrating good citizenship at school, at home and in the community this year. The award recognizes students who are honest, hardworking, helpful, and fair. Students and their families were honored at Exchange Club's breakfast meetings during the school year.
