RE/MAX offices donations help Chicago children’s hospital

The RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network donated $129,000 in 2012 to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

This brings the RE/MAX Northern Illinois network donation total to $2.6 million since 1992, when RE/MAX became a corporate sponsor of CMNH. RE/MAX agents throughout the United States have now donated more than $150 million to CMNH.

At the RE/MAX Northern Illinois 36th annual Awards Ceremony, six of its member brokerage firms and 40 offices were honored for their 2012 charitable efforts. Each was presented with an award that featured a work of art created by young patients at Lurie Children’s Hospital.

All six of the RE/MAX brokerage firms received a CMNH Outstanding Citizen Award for their efforts. As a group, the contributions of these firms accounted for approximately 64 percent of the total donated in 2012.

Forty RE/MAX Northern Illinois offices were honored for achieving Miracle Office status, which indicates that every real estate broker in that office met at least the minimum donation requirement to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for 2012. Miracle Offices account for an amazing 40 percent of the RE/MAX offices in the Northern Illinois region.
