Still no classes at Libertyville High

Classes at Libertyville High School were canceled for a second day Friday because of a flood in a subbasement.

However, crews succeeded in pumping all the water out of the lower level storage area Friday, District 128 spokeswoman Mary Todoric said.

“Just the cleanup remains,” Todoric said in an email.

The cause of the flood still wasn’t clear Friday. Some authorities suspected a broken pipe.

School officials haven’t yet decided if students will return to class Monday.
