Prosecutors said Tuesday in bond court that Wheaton police discovered thousands of child porn images and videos on Korszak's computer. The dozen movies Korszak is charged with possessing had victims younger than 13, records show.

Korszak said during his brief bond court appearance that he works as a machinist. He said he's renting a room in Addison.

If convicted on all 12 child pornography possession charges, Korszak could be sentenced to a minimum of 72 years in prison, prosecutors said.

Korszak was booked at the county jail on Monday.

If he's able to post bond, Korszak can't have contact with anyone younger than 18. He also is banned from using a computer or accessing the Internet.
