Style by Carden Exteriors announces grand opening in Lake in the Hills

Lake in the Hills, IL, US, April 4, 2013 – Increased petroleum costs affect consumers pocketbooks in obvious ways – at the pump and other travel costs. Other less-obvious areas that are directly impacted include the cost of food, and roofing materials.

One of the largest components of roofing shingles is asphalt, which is directly tied to petroleum. The cost of materials, and the cost of transporting them have driven roofing project costs up consistent with gas prices over the years. This year is no exception, with price increases up to 15% from most suppliers. This cost passes on to the contractor, and then to the homeowner seeking a repair.

Style by Carden Exteriors roofing and home exterior company has been in business since 2003 serving the greater Chicagoland area out of its Chicago location. They are proud to announce their new location in Lake in the Hills, at 1119 W. Algonquin Road. As part of their continual plan to bring the lowest possible cost roof repair to their customers, Style by Carden is holding off on the price increase longer than their competitors.

According to the owner, Kelly Carden, “As a contractor we hate that we have to charge more to our customers. We aim to give our customers great products, and great service at an affordable price. Many of the price increases for spring 2013 were effective in March or April. We are holding the lower price on all jobs installed before May 1, 2013.”
