• Three men's gold rings valued at $2,100 were taken sometime between noon and 5 p.m. Sunday from a home on Iroquois Drive, according to a police report. There were no signs of forced entry. A door between the attached garage and the home was left unlocked.
• A cellphone charger was taken from an unlocked car parked in the driveway of a home on the 100 block of Joslyn Drive, police said. The burglary was reported Wednesday.
• An iPhone and case, valued at $800, were stolen between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 1 from the Kane County Soccer Center, 37W950 Mason Road, Elgin, according to a sheriff's report. The victim told police he put his phone on a bench during a game. • Someone broke a mailbox in the 19N0-99 block of Woodview Parkway near Hampshire, causing $150 damage, between 9:10 and 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, according to a sheriff's report. The victim told deputies that this is the third time this year that the mailbox has been damaged.
