• Orlando S. Beville, 43, of the 1700 block of Berkeley Street, was arrested before 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gail Borden Public Library and charged with criminal trespass to land and disorderly conduct/breach of peace, court documents show. Beville was in the library's computer lab when he began yelling obscenities, and refused to leave when the library's security officer asked him to do so, police reports said. Beville appeared Wednesday morning in Kane County bond court, where his bail was set at $5,000. He is next due in court Feb. 21.
• Elizabeth M. Gambardella, 30, of the 4100 block of Whitehall Lane Algonquin, was charged Monday with misdemeanor retail theft, according to a police report. She was arrested at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road, and released after posting $150 cash bond. She is scheduled to appear in court March 13 in McHenry County.
