District 50 bilingual meeting:
Gurnee-based Woodland Elementary District 50 will host its third bilingual parent advisory council meeting of the academic year at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6. It’ll be at the Woodland Elementary East School cafeteria, 17261 W. Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake. Parents of English as a Second Language students and bilingual pupils are invited to attend. The meeting will feature guest speaker Sandra Gomez from Warren Township Youth and Family Services. The topic will focus on child development. Childcare will be provided.
