Eight North Shore residents selected as Super Lawyers, Rising Stars

Eight North Shore residents who are attorneys at Novack and Macey LLP, a commercial litigation boutique in Chicago, have been selected as Super Lawyers and Rising Stars for 2013.

Steve Novack of Glencoe and Eric Macey of Winnetka were named to the list of Top 100 Illinois Super Lawyers for the second consecutive year.

They were selected by Super Lawyers, a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Lawyers named to the Top 100 are those who received the highest point totals in the Illinois nomination, research and review process.

Other Super Lawyers from the firm include Monte Mann of Deerfield, Mitchell Marinello and Tim Miller, both of Wilmette, and Don Tarkington of Evanston.

Andrew Campbell of Wilmette and Steve Ciszewski of Northbrook were named Rising Stars.

“Rising Stars, like Super Lawyers, are selected based on peer nominations and independent research. To be eligible for inclusion, a candidate must be age 40 or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.
