The race for a spot on the Green Oaks-based Oak Grove Elementary District 68 school board will be uncontested with the withdrawal of one of the candidates. Elaine Vong earlier this month withdrew from consideration due to a family medical situation. That leaves four candidates for four seats on the board: Jennifer Manski, the incumbent board president, and newcomers Craig Dowden, Leigh Foltz and Ken LaCrosse. Incumbents Judy Egan, Paula Sterner and Gordon Boulger are not seeing re-election.
