Woodland Middle School performance

The Woodland Middle School Drama Club presents “Headin’ for the Hills” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25 and at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at the school’s cafeteria, 7000 Washington St., Gurnee. In this comedy, students take you to Lonesome Polecat, a town where two feuding families, the Tollivers and the Calhouns, live. You will meet Emmy Lou and Lee Roy, the Romeo and Juliet of the hills, as well as some New Yorkers who want to exploit this little town. Be prepared for a night of fun, laughter and surprises. Tickets are sold at the door. The cost is $3 for children 13 and under and $5 for adults. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
