The public is invited to join Golf to End Cancer (G2EC) "Miracle Wellness Day" from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the new PGA Tour Superstore, 1319 E. Golf Road, Schaumburg. "Golfers and nongolfers can expect a fun-filled afternoon of wellness tips, featured speakers, demonstrations, food, prizes and more," said G2EC Executive Director Ed Woronicz. "Basically, the store's 60,000 square feet will be turned into a wellness event for a few hours." G2EC was launched in 2011 at the PGA Fall Expo in Las Vegas as a way to promote the efforts of individuals and organizations in the golf industry to create a cancer-free world through its networking website, corporate partnerships, and at Miracle Wellness Day events. Speakers Saturday include A.J. Ali offering a holistic view on wellness; Dr. Kyle Goerschler from Inertia Health Center on the "Secret to Unlocking your Golf Swing"; and Jim Fannin on "How I coached the number one player in the world!" Visitors can register to win prizes. To learn more about wellness, visit www.marathonofmiracles.org. To learn more about Golf To End Cancer, visit www.golftoendcancer.com.
