In 'Sex Please We're Sixty' Mrs. Stancliffe's successful Rose Cottage Bed & Breakfast has guests that return yearly. Her neighbor, Bud 'Bud the Stud' Davis believes they come to spend time with him in romantic liaisons. Her other neighbor, Henry Mitchell is a retired chemist and has developed a pill to increase the libido of menopausal women. The fun begins when Bud attempts to entertain the guests Victoria Ambrose, Hillary Hudson, and Charmaine Beauregard. The mayhem ensues and then all the women find their lives moving in new and surprising directions.
Nicolette Chelios is making her third go-around with the Elgin Theater Company in her first principle role in a full-length staged production. She last appeared in ETC's production of It's a Wonderful Life: Radio Stage Play as Mary Hatch-Bailey. Prior to that, she made her debut on stage in May, 2010, in ETC's M*A*S*H as Miss Randazzle, the dimwitted secretary to East Coast college dean, Mercy Lodge. She looks forward to working alongside some seasoned community theater actors and receiving direction from the talented and patient, Linda Collins. She is dedicating this performance to her husband, Scot Savage.
