Lake Villa Elementary District 41 will host two community forums to discuss the work of the district's financial advisory committee. Superintendent John Van Pelt and members of the financial advisory committee will present to parents and community members the pros and cons of the four focus areas District 41 is considering due to financial constraints it faces. The forums are scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 16 and Tuesday, Jan. 22. They will begin at 7 p.m. in the Palombi Middle School gymnasium, 133 McKinley Ave., Lake Villa. Please enter through the student activity entrance. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.
