Junior guard JayQuan McCloud scored 27 points to lead North Chicago's boys basketball team to a 68-51 win over host Vernon Hills in North Suburban Prairie Division action Wednesday night.

North Chicago (9-1, 4-0) also received 14 points from Timothy Dixon, 12 from Jarrod Coleman and 11 from Emanuel January.

Stephen Curry had 21 points for Vernon Hills, which fell to 5-6 and 2-2 in the NSC Prairie. TJ Flis added 14 for the Cougars.
