Credit Union site for Marine’s Toys for Tots donations

KCT Credit Union will hold its annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive. The charity event, hosted in conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve League, will collect toy donations for local children through Dec. 8.

For more than a half century, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program has delivered new toys at Christmas with the purpose of sending a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.

KCT Credit Union has partnered with Toys for Tots for more than a decade and this important initiative is now one of the credit union’s most popular charity efforts. The toy drive has become a reliable source of donations that benefit hundreds of area children every year. Residents and businesses are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to any of KCT Credit Union’s branches through Dec. 8.

“KCT Credit Union is extremely passionate about this effort because it has a tangible effect on our immediate community and falls perfectly in line with our philosophy,” said Kristine Kowalski, vice president of marketing at KCT Credit Union. “This is an important and effective charity, particularly in tough economic times. The donations of generous people and businesses throughout the community have brightened the holidays for countless area children over the years, and this year will be as important as ever.”
