Police search for hit-and-run vehicle

Cook County Sheriff's police are requesting the assistance of the public in helping identify a car that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run in unincorporated Maine Township near Des Plaines earlier this week.
On either late Sunday night or early Monday morning, Ronald Bougan, 53, of Park Ridge, was hit by a vehicle on eastbound Touhy Avenue, between I-294 and Talcott Avenue.

Police believe the passenger side of the vehicle sustained body damage and is asking anyone who has information on the hit-and-run to call the Cook County Sheriff's Police Department Investigations Section at (708) 865-4896 or the Cook County Sheriff's Communications Center at (847) 635-1188.
