Free Seminars for Year End Tax Planning

On January 1. 2013, several key estate and gift tax benefits may no longer be available as various pieces of legislation expire. In an effort to assist individuals and families with planning for the impending changes, the North Barrington law firm of Kelleher & Buckley, LLC will be holding several free seminars in November.

The firm will be hosting the sessions at their offices located at 102 South Wynstone Park Drive on Saturday November 17th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and on Thursday November 29th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Both seminars are free.

The focus of the discussions will be how individuals can use Estate Plans, Revocable Living Trusts, IRA Trusts, Gifting Strategies, and other options to manage their assets now and in the future. “We will discuss how those tools can be effectively utilized to manage assets, especially if a spouse or family member should die,” said Kelleher & Buckley, LLC founding partner Andrew J. Kelleher, Jr. “Part of the seminar will focus on the expiration of the tax benefits, and ways in which people who have Estate Plans already in place may want to make adjustments before year end.”

Representatives of Kelleher & Buckley encourage participants to come to the seminars with specific questions if needed. Said Kelleher, “We have enjoyed some great discussions in recent seminars we’ve held so we look forward to being able to answer questions about year end planning during the November meetings as well.”

There is no charge to attend the sessions but reservations are required as space is limited. Reservations may be made by calling Lisa Walter at 847-852-1182 or via e-mail at lwalter@kelleherbuckley.com. Information about the firm and its Estate Planning services can be found at www.kelleherbuckley.com.
