South Elgin Kindercare Parent Teacher Organization to host Health & Safety Expo

The South Elgin Kindercare Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is hosting its First Annual Health and Safety Expo in order to promote Health and Safety amongst our center children and faculty as well as our community members. As an Early Childhood Education facility we find it of the utmost importance to create a healthier and safer environment for all children! In order to create such environment we are hosting an Expo with providers from every area of Health and Safety possible. There is a great deal of providers that will be in attendance. The South Elgin Fire Department will be showcasing their Fire Engines and Ambulances to allow the children to explore and become familiar with the vehicles and members of the department along with their equipment. The South Elgin Police Department and McGruff the Crime Dog will be providing Free Child Identification Kits. Next Generation Pediatrics and Dayspring Pediatric Dentistry are a few of the pediatric health venues that will be present. Delnor Express Care, Greater Elgin Family Care Center and Sherman Health Systems will be representing family health providers while Springhill Gymnastics will be representing the physical aspect of keeping healthy. Brar Dentistry will be giving out hand outs such as toothbrushes, toothpaste and dental floss. Serene Chirorpractic will be completing free ten minute massages. Child and Family services will also be conducting free Child Developmental Screenings. There will also be a great amount of fun activities for the kids to enjoy include a bounce house.
