“October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we know that lack of health insurance is often a barrier for women who should have a screening mammogram each year,” said Larry Scimeca, Director of Radiology, Holy Family Medical Center. “Many women believe that because they don't have insurance, they will not be able to afford a mammogram, and we are trying to make it as affordable as possible for them to get this screening that could save their life.”
