D50 strategic planning

Woodland Elementary District 50 invites its community to participate in a fall strategic planning process that will begin next month. The school board is seeking suggestions for issues to be included in development of the district’s new strategic plan. The process will start on Oct. 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. and will conclude the following day from 8 a.m. to noon. Both meetings will be in the Woodland Educational Support Center, 1105 N. Hunt Club Road, Gurnee. The Oct. 19 meeting will include an overview of the strategic planning process, development of strategic objectives and current status of district goals. The Oct. 20 meeting will include consideration of the district’s strategic initiatives, a review of current district Mission and Beliefs and next steps. Those interested in participating or have questions, should contact Jennifer Tempest Bova at (847) 596-5604 or jbova@dist50.net or by Sept. 17.
