Elgin

• Lacy Ousley, 18, of the 500 block of West Highland Avenue, appeared in bond court Tuesday on charges of theft and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors, according to court documents. Ousley was charged with stealing a Play Station 3 Monday and threatening to have someone he knew killed, documents said. Bail was set at $3,000, of which Ousley must pay 10 percent to be released before his next court date, scheduled Sept. 14 in Elgin.

• Matthew M. Ankenbrandt, 25, of the 800 block of Oak Street, was charged with battery, disorderly conduct and trespass to land, all misdemeanors, according to a police report. Ankenbrandt was accused of going onto another man's property Sunday night on the 300 block of South Commonwealth Avenue, refusing to leave, shouting at him and grabbing his shirt. Ankenbrandt is next due in court Friday in Elgin.

West Dundee

• Ryan A. Saviano, 22, of the 3000 block of Rolling Hills Road in Carpentersville, was charged with battery to a police officer and damage to state property after being arrested at about 5:45 p.m. Aug. 24 at Spring Hill Mall, according to police. Saviano is accused of punching an officer in the face and striking a police car. Bail was set at $50,000 Aug. 26 and Saviano is due in court Thursday in St. Charles.
