• Eha Rodi, 55, of the 900 block of Harvest Circle, Buffalo Grove, was arrested around 5:10 p.m. July 20 in an apartment lot on the 900 block of Harvest Circle and charged with disorderly conduct after he reportedly yelled and spit at a female resident cleaning her car.

• Peggy L. Hanson, 60, of the 1200 block of Clearview Court, Buffalo Grove, was arrested around 1:40 p.m. July 21 on the 1200 block of Clearview Court and charged with battery.

• Alexander Charles Killian, 18, of the 400 block of Buckboard Drive, Wheeling, was arrested around 5 p.m. July 18 and charged with theft after he reportedly took an iPod out of a friend's home on 0-100 block of Charles Court around 9:30 a.m. July 17 and pawned it.

• A man stole six bottles of tequila from Dominick's, 770 S. Buffalo Grove, around 6:20 p.m. July 21.

• Vandals put deep scratches a driver's-side door, rear quarter panel and rear hatch on a 2008 Lexus and deep scratches on the rear passenger's-side rear door, trunk lid and both driver's-side doors on a 1994 Toyota at a home on the 900 block of Parker Lane between 10 p.m. July 22 and 7:0 a.m. July 23.

• Vandals scratched the passenger side and trunk on a car in driveway on the 900 block of Paker Lane between 2 p.m. July 21 and 10 a.m. July 23.

• Vandals scratched a car at the park district facility, 150 Raupp Blvd., between 10:45 and 11:15 a.m. July 22.

• Vandals smashed a driver's-side window on a car parked at the Town Center, 130 McHenry Road, between 4:30 and 8:30 p.m. July 22.

• Witnesses saw two youths take a golf cart at Willow Stream Park, 651 Old Checker Road, around 4:45 p.m. July 18 and crash it into a fence. The fence was damaged and the steering wheel of the cart was broken off. They disappeared before officers arrived.

• Thieves stole a cellphone after the female owner left it on a table at Eskape, 350 N. McHenry Road, around 12:15 a.m. July 19. Value was estimated at $400.

• A man reportedly stole three bottles of champagne valued a $658 from Dominick's, 770 S. Buffalo Grove Road, around 2:15 p.m. July 8.

• Vandals set off a firecracker inside a mailbox on the 300 block of Checker Drive around 1:50 a.m. July 14.

• Burglars stole a purse, prescription sunglasses valued at $400, five credit cards, and gift card out of a car in an open garage at a home on the 1300 block of Devonshire Road between 9:30 p.m. July 13 and 7:15 a.m. July 14. Someone used one of the cards five times in Waukegan and Zion.

• Burglars stole a satellite radio and loose change out of an unlocked car on the 700 block of Dannet Road beween 8:30 p.m. July 13 and 7:15 a.m. July 14.

• Burglars stole a navigation system and a men's wallet containing $165 out of a van on the 500 block of Crown Point Court beween 9 p.m. July 13 and 8 a.m. July 14.

• Thieves stole a cellphone valued at $199 during an estate sale at a home on the 1300 block of Hidden Lake Drive between noon and 12:15 p.m. July 14.

• Burglars stole a navigation system out of an unlocked vehicle on the 1200 block of Devonshire Road between 6 p.m. July 13 and noon July 14. Value was estimated at $250.

• Burglars forced open sliding doors at a home on the 600 block of Hasfield Lane betwen 8:30 p.m. July 14 and 12:30 a.m. July 15 and stole costume jewelry and an iPad out of a bedroom. Value was estimated at $635.

• Burglars stole two 12-inch subwoofers and an amplifier out of the trunk of a car on the 800 blockof Dannet Road between 1 a.m. July 14 and 10 a.m. July 15. Value was estimated at $400.

• Thieves stole a 76-piece china set 50 years old and valued at $1,000 out of a home on the 1500 block of Anderson Lane between 2:30 and 9 p.m. Juy 8.


• Tricia L. Horsman, 24, of the 1700 block of Eighth Street, Rockford, was arrested around 9:30 p.m. July 17 at Walmart, 1555 N. Rand Road, and charged with retail theft after she reportedly took merchandise valued at $100 and hid it in her purse.

• Burglars stole a wallet valued at $100 out of an unlocked 2012 Honda Odyssey van at Birchwood Park, 435 W. Illinois Ave., between noon and 12:30 p.m. July 22.

•A vandal hurled a rock that broke a double-pane window and screen next to the front door at a home on the 1100 block of East Cunningham Drive between 1:50 and 2:05 a.m. July 20.
