What are you doing to beat the heat?

With temperatures in the upper 90s combined with high humidity, saying it’s hot outside is an understatement.

“Drinking lots of water and trying to stay inside as much as possible.”

Tricia Sauve, 42, Palatine

“I’m mostly staying in or under shade. And eating frozen grapes — it’s like eating ice, but tastier.”

Chelsea Katz, 27, Chicago

“I’m going to the pool with my friends.”

Conner Murphy, 18, Arlington Heights

“I’m inside training for work, (so) just not going outside.”

Jared Richardson, 24, Lisle

“Staying in our air-conditioned house, (and) drinking lots of water.”

Peter and Jamie Larsen, both 65, Palatine
